Codex Seraphinianus, 1976-1978
‘The Codex Seraphinianus is a book written and illustrated by Italian artist, architect and industrial designer Luigi Serafini, from 1976 to 1978. The book appears to be a visual encyclopedia of an unknown world, written in one of its languages, an alphabetic writing intended to be meaningless.’
This is a “stick, glue and glitter” DIY. I debated whether to post this because the Etsy snow globe empty rings are $2.99 for the small and $3.54 for the large (shipping to US $2.95 plus $.50 for each add. item). But this Etsy shop is filled with interesting globes, findings etc… that I’m seeing in Etsy jewelry in other shops.
